The Harkless Family came to Colorado for Thanksgiving. The cousins had a wonderful time playing together.
We had dinner over at Grandma and Grandpa's house
Watch out world...
The next weekend we went out and got a Christmas tree and had a great time decorating it. The kids are really starting to enjoy all of the Holiday traditions.
Decorating Santas for Christmas
The next week we had a "Trash Truck" Birthday party at our house for Ashton
There were a lot of kids at the party. We definitely had a full house. Ashton's friends that came were Cody, Ty, CJ, Caitlin, River, Caleb, and Sarah.
The kids decorated trash trucks and then went down into the basement to pick up all the "trash"
They all played Duck Duck Goose. Ashton had the funny comment of the day when he said, "hold on everyone I have to go put on my racing pants". He wanted to put on shorts so that he could run faster.
Trying to play red light/green light

Aunt Steph gave him a ride on John Deere tractor.
The grange in the Meadows had Santa and Mrs. Clause so we went over to see them. The kids had a great time and Cate even sat and talked to Santa this year.
The kid's first day of skiing! We put them in lessons at Loveland and they had a blast. They learned so much and couldn't wait to go again.
On Christmas Eve we put out cookies for Santa and sugar cubes for the reindeer. Thank goodness everyone was feeling better after having the stomach bug a few days earlier!
The kids showing off their Christmas Eve present, pajamas.
Christmas morning was so much fun!!
For Christmas dinner Aunt Pat and Uncle Don hosted us. The kids got to open more presents and had a wonderful ham dinner.
The morning after Christmas we headed up to Steamboat to continue the Christmas celebration.
A trip to Steamboat wouldn't be complete without Ranger Rick rides
We went skiing 2 days while in Steamboat. The first day we put them in lessons and they learned a lot! The next day we all skied together. The kids were able to ride up the 6-person Christy lift and ski all the way back down. We are proud of our little skiers!
Grammy and Grandpa Rlowe are so happy to be able to go skiing with their grandkids!!
