For the 6th year in a row we headed up to Steamboat to celebrate the 4th of July. We were up there for a week and you can tell by how full our car was. The car was packed to the max with luggage, golf clubs, 4 bikes, 2 scooters, and 2 dogs.
The first night we were there the Larkin family came over to have dinner with us. They had been in Steamboat the prior week and it was great that we were able to see them before they headed home.
The next day we headed to the mountainside and let the kids play in the water
Then we took the kids to do the trampolines. Cate was so excited that we let her do it. They both went very high and had a great time. After they were done Cate told Grandpa "I don't think I could ever thank you enough for letting me do that".
The next day we took the kids on the alpine slide for the first time. They loved the lift ride up and of course the slide down.
The next day Eric took the kids to the driving range to hit some balls. They are really starting to get the hang of it.
We took the kids to Little Toots park down town to play and then we went out to lunch
Later that afternoon we all rode the gondola to the top of the mountain and then went for a hike.
The kids talked us into letting them go on the trampolines again. This time they went even higher.
While Cate spent some time with Grammy we took Sadie and Uncle Q's dog swimming. It was the first time Sadie had ever been swimming and she had a blast.

Then all the kids took a turn riding Hawk Eye
Waiting for the fireworks to start. Ashton fell asleep 2 minutes before they started :)
Another great 4th of July trip to Steamboat. My family is so wonderful and it was great to get to see some of our friends up there too.
