Lots of Play

In the last few weeks Eric and I have noticed a big change in Cate. We feel like she has all of the sudden transitioned from baby to toddler. We have been noticing many new things that she can do and say. We think that she is picking up a lot at day care too. Here are some of the new things that Cate is doing:
-In addition to "mama", "dada", and "yah", she can now say "da" (dog), "uh oh", and "bye bye"
-She likes to hide toys behind her back and when you ask her where it went, she swings it around to her front and smiles.
-She can point to her head, nose, eyes, mouth, ears, tummy, toes, feet, and diaper when asked.
-If you ask her to go and get something like a book or a ball she will go and look for it and bring it to you.
-She loves to kiss things and to blow kisses. Her way of saying thank you is to blow a kiss. It is sooo adorable
-She is starting to pretend a little bit. If you give her a bowl and a spoon, she will stir with the spoon and then try to feed you
-Daddy's new favorite thing that she does is that she will pat you on the back when you are holding her.

Catherine decided that it would be fun to climb into a box and have Daddy carry her around

Doing a little finger painting

Here are some pictures and a video of our trip to the Children's museum:

This time at the museum she was able to take the pegs out and then put them back into the holes
