Aunt Steph

Last week Aunt Steph came out to visit us before she started her new job in California. It was so much fun to have her out here with us. We took the kids to the zoo one day and then to the aquarium the next day. After the aquarium we stayed in Boston for lunch in Quincy market. It was a beautiful day. After lunch we saw some street performers and I tried to get Cate to use a hoola hoop. She wasn't too interested.








Ashton is such an active baby. I was having trouble finding things for him to do that would entertain him for more than 5 minutes. So recently I purchased a walker and he absolutely loves it. It didn't take him very long to figure out how to get around in it. Now he chases Cate around the kitchen in it. I also took him outside in the driveway in it and he chased Cate around while she was riding her trike. It was pretty funny. He can get going pretty fast in his walker.

This is an outfit that Eric wore when he was a baby. It is the perfect size for Ashton to wear now.


Ashton's new accomplishment is that he has figured out how to crawl. He has crawled all the way across our family room. He can also pull himself up to a standing position. The only problem with that is that once he is standing (holding on to something of course) he doesn't know how to get down. He is one active baby!
